Next up,

Benefits of ICE&the famous JAPANESE GREEN TEA!

(Credits to Google.)

SUPPER: Egg on the bright side!

Lay off the Chips, Maggi Mee, Roti Canai, Mamak, Lemak, Burgers for a ...
Simple Egg For Two! (except I ate it all, heh glutton?)
May I present you with: Buttered Egg.

Who said Egg's were only for Breakfast?

12AM,  I was watching Masterchefs making Egg Benedict on TV, made me stomach grumble. *Nyoms* I was craving for Tomyam Cup Noodles but, I don't have them at home. We barely buy them, only once in a while, guess it's a GOOD thing? *thumbs up*

I learnt that using BUTTER as a substitute for OIL is a healthier & better choice. I also learnt that, we should spread the butter on the pan before it gets TOO HEATED. Hence, the non-coal (burned butter) egg, you'll know what I mean once you do it wrong. On low heat, put the butter in, the egg, yes. Then just cook the egg however you want it, fried? But I prefer a Sunny-side upped egg! (:
That's it, simpler, healthier than Instant Noodles or Mamak Canai.

Last bites, add pepper/oregano/whatever herb or chives on :) It'll taste better than ever.

LOOK AT THE MELTY YOLK <3 I lurve it, with ketchup.

If you don't like butter, just butter the pan till it's covered (not too much Like I do) so you wouldn't have a heavy butter smell on the egg. Or, just use the normal oil you use! At least you have the egg done! :D & stomach satisfied.
Fyi, TomatoKetchup is my favourite thing in food category (:

HAPPY NYOM NYOM, Readers!
If you're still hungry, drink a cup of water.
If you have Fear for WaterRetention on yo' face the next day, just go to Sleep or opt for a massage for your face the next morn'!
Better if you could just sleep early, to avoid late night grumbles *stomach*, it usually happens from 12.30AM-2AM.

I DON'T ENCOURAGE SUPPER THOUGH, IT'S BAD FOR HEALTH :/

Soup of the day :D

Vegetarian Xi Yong Choi Soup (: Healthy and good.

Ingredients:
500gm watercress/ xi yong choi (veggie),
1 handful of Goji/Kei Chi seeds,
10 'biji' of Red Dates,
Add Dried Longan as much as you like, depending on how sweet you want the soup to be (:
2 corns on a cob in smaller pieces & its kernels.
A teaspoon of salt

First, boil the water in the pot. Then, put in the corns&the cob as well, the watercress, goji, dried longan and red dates. Boil it :D then good to drink.

Usually people put in chicken bones and meat into the soup for the sweetness, but we replaced it with CORNS for a healthier benefit (:

 Loves,
azestofmelody.

Slices&Spices @ Bkt Damansara

Slices&Spices famous for its Finest Tradition Cakes&Bakes.

Red Velvet :D nyomnyom! Their cheesecake is pretty good too.

Ready for Christmas? (;

Gingerbread man with fondant! & Carrot Walnut Loaf!
Healthy bread (:

OH, & these taste great as well. I liked Oatmeal Raisins the best.

Slices&Spices also serve food too! We had the Foot Long Sausage with Mash & Salad. It was salty! The sauce was mild and plain.

Mushroom Aglio Olio! This was okay  (:

No. :03-20955515
No. 8-1, Jalan Balai, Bukit Damansara,

Genting Highlands: Resort World.

Richard Marx's concert was A-AWESOME, FANTASTIC. Better Live than ever.

Anyway, the more important thing would be, what are the specialties there? I didn't get to visit the famous ones because we decided to eat something else. The BKT in the Mushroom Farm is yum too, not bad.

Resort World
For breakfast on the next day, we had Dim Sum @ Good Friends Restaurant

Good Friends Restaurant, Hakka Restaurant. Don't be fooled by the queue. People were queueing all the way till the other side of the mall for ..2012 Calenders, given by Casinos. HAHA. IKR. The food was disappointing!
It used to taste really good back in the years.

 1. Any hawker stalls Hokkien Mee can taste better than that.
2. Pao, was good (:
3. Yam Cake, could have tasted better. But, I liked it.
4. Siu Mai, SAD, it was poorly presented.
5. We had Pai Kuat (Ribs) also, it was too SALTYYYY D:

There were so many people waiting for their food and customers waiting had queueing number. Everybody was working so fast and quick. Tables awaiting took at least 30-45 mins for their food.
Bad service, and the food was just "mah-mah-tei", bolehlah only.

Next off,
Bakery (;

DROOLS* I love the croissants, esp the blueberry with melted sugar.

They have Beef Stew & Sandwiches of your choice. Like subway, but with better bread.

Isn't this intriguing? I am gonna come back to try the Strawberry Pavlova. nyom (:

We visited the Strawberry farm at GohTong Jaya as well.

There were many strawberries! But, not as big&sweet compared to Cameron Highlands.
For funsake, we picked strawberries. 100gm for RM6. If we buy it from them, it's only RM5.

The strawberry milkshake & the strawberries we picked!
The milkshake is okay, too thick though. Strawberries weren't sweet enough too ):

Thanks for visiting!
Come back for more! (;

Nasi Lemak & Fong Lye for the day.

Craving for nasi lemak? Nasi Lemak Tawaf in Sri Petaling (: It's a stall beside the road, opposite GoodYear (OR some Tyre shop.)  There's nothing better than starting our day-out with SPICE!

It's the same as any other NL you can find, but the best is the Ayam Merah/Rendang, Sotong & Daging (I had no idea whether it was Kambing or Lembu.) Look at the eager customers' face!

Cute? I thought it was pretty creative to hold the 'bungkusan' in place while choosing out own 'lauk'.

Ayam Rendang with Sambal, & usual peanuts.

Ayam Masak Merah with Daging, Egg with Sambal (:
The sambal is goood.

Lucky enough, when we got there, the fried chicken was newly fried (; Crisp.

The crowd is incredible for such a small stall. You'd have to arrive early to skip the crowd or get a take-away (: By 11 am, everything would have finished.
I didn't get the address down but here's the number & Address I got from FourSquare.
Number : 017-2645254, 03-89616723
FONG LYE @ KL (behind to ParkRoyalHotel.)

The place might be small. It's kinda interesting & noisy.

Appetizers!
Tea was good :D not bitter but clear, think it's Wulong cha.
(I liked the teapots!)

Out of the 6 choices, we get to pick two. ( I forgot to take a pic!).
We chose Lotus Root. It's a little spicy, but crisp.

& Fried Little Shrimps. It's salted with pepper.
I didn't really like this much, too salty. Bros' loved it though.

Smoked Pork, with Chili sauce.

Sweet&Sour Pork Ribs.

Lion Head Soup.

(三杯鸡)

in ENG translation, it's three cup chicken. It's a famous Taiwanese dish :D Heavy with Basil leaves. Read their short History here!

Steamed Taufoo.

Guess what I found in the Lion Head Soup! Meat wrapped with Egg, like Wanton.

Lastly, served with Plum Juice (: to satisfy our full tummy!

ADD: It's along the road in 94 Jalan Imbi.
Same row lot as Restoran Overseas!

NOT TO FORGET (that's my mum&dad),  Happy Birthday to my Beloved Dad today (: <3

Next stop,
Genting Highlands! (;

Love,
azestofmelody.
